New OmniCoin Wallet IOS app [Update thread] - Exigo - Mar 10, 2015 Donations would be appreciated and help with the development oTrArkBbBdsRTAGbher1X9ZmhnHZjMnM1k
I'm going to develop a iOS OMC wallet app for iOS. Here I will post updates along with screenshots and videos of my progress. I plan on having the app finished within 1 - 2 months. The basic outline of the app is that the user should be able to sign up for a wallet as well as log in. The user can view nearly all details about their account from their wallet address to their balance to their recent purchase if the api allows it. Nearly everything the Omnicha.in api offers I will implement. Update #1 10/03/2015 I've begun work on designing the app, expect an update with the design in the next few days. #Update 2 10/03/2015 22:05 GMT First look at the early design for the sign in screen, open to criticisms and suggestions as that's how the app will get better. Spoiler (Click to View) UPDATED 22:18 Spoiler (Click to View) Update #2 11/03/2015 17:51 GMT I've designed the main screen of the app. It's not perfect and could be improved on so I look forward to your suggestions. Thanks. Spoiler (Click to View) #Update 3 13/03/2015 16:15 GMT Updated the main screen of the app to include some of the suggestions people have put forward. Spoiler (Click to View) I'm tired of designing so the next step is to actually code something. I'll be recording the actual coding and speeding it up so people don't have to watch hours of coding. Look forward to an update soon! Update #4 13/03/2015 22:02 GMT I didn't get a chance to record actual coding sorry guys. But I have a video here demonstrating the login and register features. It's still a work in progress but nearly all the function is there. I still need to add alert views though. The video below shows the the login and register prototypes working: Spoiler (Click to View) #Update 5 15/03/2015 1:42 GMT I'm beginning work on core functionality of the app and for this I'm in need of small amounts of OMC. If you can spare a few OMC to help me test the app I would be very grateful!. address: oTrArkBbBdsRTAGbher1X9ZmhnHZjMnM1k #Update 6 23/03/2015 19:28 GMT Development has grinded to a halt due to a bug in the api that has yet to be fixed. Will update soon. #Update 7 1/04/2015 21:32 GMT I've been pretty busy as exams are coming up but as Abe said the problem has been fixed and development has continued, although at a slow pace due to the looming exam season. I've made significant progress on the main screen. I've just got to fix up a few bugs here and there. #Update 8 10/04/2015 18:53 GMT I had some time to work on the app so I rewrote the transaction code as I wasn't happy with it. Right now what is working is that it makes the call to the api, get the results, sorts the results and displays the different cells based on the values. Video is below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukCcJEFp_Hg #Update 9 12/04/2015 0:11 GMT I've finished the transactions part of the app. The transactions part of the app displays all the transactions made today, all transactions made within 7 days of the current date and all transactions made this month. The next step is to add the screen that displays when you click on a transaction to see more detail. A video of the transactions working is below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5c5bARTFNg Feedback is welcomed. Update #10 12/04/2015 03.49 GMT I had a coffee a bit too late tonight so I haven't been able to get to sleep. I really didn't like the current design so I'm going to be spending a few days updating the UI. I managed to a get a very nice looking design incorporated into a test project to not accidentally ruin the main project. I'm going to incorporate the design into the main project tomorrow. The image is below, I'm making a poll for weather I should use the new design style or the old one. The login screen is below: Spoiler (Click to View) Update #11 13/04/2015 15:28 Since I've finished the main page which holds the transactions I need a small team of testers, maybe 3. I've messaged MeshCollider a copy of the source code to look through and approve. If you want to view the latest source code the link to my Github repository with the latest code is below. https://github.com/AlexCatchpole/OmniWallet * - Fʀᴀɴᴋɪᴇ - Mar 10, 2015 Curious to see how this will turn out. Going to bookmark & watch development as it goes :) * - SpeakerKnockerz - Mar 10, 2015 Posting to check it out. Good luck on your journey, OP, will definitely be checking daily! * - Dr.Penguin - Mar 10, 2015 Awesome, I wonder how this is all going to play out. * - ZuGgY - Mar 10, 2015 Ok, as long as the OMC team tests this out and approves of this first, so we can trust it and all, I'm fine with seeing this. Thanks. * - Exigo - Mar 10, 2015 I'll be allowing the OMC team to fully test out the app before putting it on the app store. Sounds different, maybe you just had it there. Other than that, sick asf bro, love it! * - Exigo - Mar 10, 2015 (Mar 10, 2015 03:10 PM)Aeroslim Wrote: Don't hate me for this.I don't quite get what you mean by "maybe you just had it there"? * - Aurora - Mar 10, 2015 (Mar 10, 2015 03:12 PM)Vaillant Wrote: I don't quite get what you mean by "maybe you just had it there"? I think he's saying the way it's phrased. "Not got an account?" sounds a bit funny. "Don't have an account?" sounds better. * - Exigo - Mar 10, 2015 (Mar 10, 2015 03:15 PM).Sinister Wrote: I think he's saying the way it's phrased.I've updated the design to change the bottom text. * - Abraham Lincoln - Mar 10, 2015 Although I love the alternative logo design, you should probably stick with the official one so there isn't any confusion. * - Exigo - Mar 10, 2015 (Mar 10, 2015 04:18 PM)Abraham Lincoln Wrote: Although I love the alternative logo design, you should probably stick with the official one so there isn't any confusion.I'll try to work that in. The omnicoin team can really only give full approval if you make it open source, please keep that in mind. Can't wait to see some progress here :) design looks good so far. |
