Did you tried to search a specific topic that you don't understand?
I just tried to Google 'linking the button to the second activity' and found quite a lot of tutorials and Youtube videos.
I'm myself just a starting Java programmer so I won't be able to assist you. Just though it may help you to find solution to your current issues with Android app development.
