BIOS lock screen - Modern day Hippy - Apr 9, 2015 A friend of mine came to me with her PC problem (bios error) When i turn on her pc the system will not start up, it automatically shows a screen asking for the bios password. now i recall learning a bit about this situation, I've tried the old Pc flushing and the jumper method but i've had no luck with the both. Any tips no how to fix this problem? * - TazzyOpz - Apr 9, 2015 (Apr 9, 2015 07:23 AM)chubownage Wrote: A friend of mine came to me with her PC problem (bios error) When i turn on her pc the system will not start up, it automatically shows a screen asking for the bios password. now i recall learning a bit about this situation, I've tried the old Pc flushing and the jumper method but i've had no luck with the both. You'll have to be more specific when you say "PC flushing". Have you tried taking out the BIOS battery that's on the board? It's a little silver circle cylinder. Try taking it off for 20 minutes or so and putting it back on. ^^^^ That may have been what you ment by "PC Flushing" But I'm not sure lol. * - Sacred Symmetry - Apr 9, 2015 Just remove the bios battery, try to boot without it. * - TazzyOpz - Apr 9, 2015 (Apr 9, 2015 09:46 AM)Google Chrome Wrote: Just remove the bios battery, try to boot without it. That's what I was referring to above as well.. However I think that may have been what he meant by "PC Flushing" but I'm not sure. * - Modern day Hippy - Apr 9, 2015 (Apr 9, 2015 09:57 AM)TazzyOpz Wrote: That's what I was referring to above as well..
