Getting someones IP through skype, without skype resolvers - Mazuen - Apr 9, 2015
Hey guys, im new to the forum and wanted to make my first post, this post is for any beginners in hacking or just wanting to see how "hacking" can involve the exploitation of a program or operating system
1. Phone or send a document to the person on Skype that you want to find the ip off
2. press: Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard
3. click on the performance tab - h ttp://prntscr.com/6rp4zw
3. you will see a button saying Resource monitor, click on it - h ttp://prntscr.com/6rp5a0
4. You will see 5 tabs at the top of the window you have opened, click on the 'Network' tab - h ttp://prntscr.com/6rp5ms
5. Select Skype from the list of programs running - h ttp://prntscr.com/6rp6dn
6. Under network activity you will see a bunch of different IPs listed
7. Select the Received B/sec tab if you are in a call with the person, or Send B/sec tab if you are sending them a file, the IP with the largest number to it will be the IP of the target

Cool post, can they still get your ip, if youre on a proxy?

Hey, thanks for your question, from the people I have used this method on i have had no problem with a proxy, i use this method as skype resolveres can't bypass a proxy, so yes thet can :)

if you tunnel your skype through a proxy it won't work.
