I put how randomisation is done on the 8th page. I'm still working on making shit look nice as I have no graphic design skills at all.

Help me HF. #Thirdworldproblems.

What is the house edge? Is that possible to prove is a fair game?

* - brian188246 - Apr 19, 2015

This is really cool, I'll deposit a little OMC and play soon.
Good work man

The dealer's cards don't always stay the same between hitting / sticking. The cards in their hand randomly change every once in awhile. Also the number of cards in their hand increases and decreases randomly.

I'm not terribly familiar with BlackJack, but I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.

The cards are all randomly picked via the same method for both user and dealer.
I'll look into the exact probability of winning but do note that you can try the game for free without adding any omnicoin. Just click "play blackjack" and leave the bet boxes blank. Just don't expect to get any winnings from it.

Signed,
Vandie.

Also, if you bust you loose 100%, but if you win you only get 150%.

That means that the house edge is essentially 50%+ (as the game is already in favor of the house)

It's not provably fair. You just have to trust that the game isn't rigged.

If people want I can raise the returns. However as there is so little in the pot right now, I don't think that it would be able to pay out. (pots funds are displayed on the index).

I'd recommend you increase it to 200%. I don't think anyone wants to play a game with a 50% house odd. That's like less than 25% chance of winning each round 😏

I did 1 game and noticed an error:

Whenever you get dealt an Ace with your first 2 cards, it asks you if you want it to be a 1 or 11.
Then if you choose "Hit Me" it asks again "Do you want the Ace to be a 1 or 11" if you chose 1 the first time and 11 the second time it remains as a 1 regardless.

Example:

I was dealt an Ace and a 6.
Chose the Ace to be 1.
Total = 7

I was dealt a 3. (Ace + 6 + 3)
It asked again, I chose 11 this time to make it equal 20 total.
Total = 20

I chose to Stick with my cards, it changed my hands value to 10 and the dealer won with 20.

You just need to alter it to where once you choose the value of the Ace the first time it doesn't ask again, or where it will re-value the card whenever you change it.

EDIT:
sped through 10 games, lost 9 in a row, finally got 21, but the dealer tied with 21. Seems quite unbalanced.

EDIT 2:
I busted with an Ace before it asked me for the Ace's value. It revealed the dealers hand to show he had 21, I made the value of the Ace a 1 so my Total would be 17, it re-dealt the dealers cards and he had 21 again, twice in 1 deal, he received different hands both times for a total of 21 each time. The first time he had a 9>2>Q, second time in the SAME turn it gave him a 7>4>J

Thats not error just an oversight on my part. Will try and get this fixed.

I'm saying it should only ask you for the Ace's value once.
