Minimum Post Length - Omniscient - Apr 22, 2015
Forever the minimum characters required to post has been 35. In an effort to recognize more mobile users I'm reducing for all members the required characters to 25. This may lower some quality of posting but it may also make the lives of mobile browsing members a lot easier.

Here marks the new era of extreme-LQP.
While I see your point in doing this to promote more to mobile users, this is going to have a lot of issues in my opinion, seeing as we already have people posting low-quality things at the 35 character limit (in an attempt to troll, or look "edgy").
And also, I don't see why 35 characters would be a big deal for mobile users. I'm on my mobile device, and yet I'm capable of posting more than just 35 characters with relative ease.
Nonetheless, I guess we'll just have to see how this plays out.
EDIT: And for anyone looking at this, please don't take my feedback as me being unappreciative. I thank you Omni for pushing out so many developments and changes to HF within the last few months, and I commend you for working so hard. However if I don't agree with something, I'll leave my feedback anyway to see if anyone else agrees.
