Newegg software Sale - Windows 7 Pro 109.99 - Windows 7 Home 79.99 + More titles. - Rsynced - Apr 23, 2015

Just received an email promo from newegg and thought I would share it with you all.

For anyone looking for LEGIT disc versions of windows 7 and other software this is a really good deal. Offer is only valid until 4/25, so if you need some copies for IT Work/Home you should not hesitate.

Also, People please do not reply to this thread with dumb shit like you can get windows for free via pirated copies. This is the legit retail version and YES people do buy windows. Just because you have a free copy on your home pc doesn't mean you speak for everyone. Advantages of buying the retail disc are that you KNOW that the copy is directly from Microsoft and not filled with RAT's etc. Also if you own the retail disc version you can install it on unlimited computers and just buy keys for dirt cheap without worrying about installing a malicious ISO.

No, windows 7 has always been more expensive then windows 8.

Honestly you got ripped off if you paid $120 for windows 8 pro. You can find retails versions of win8 pro for $80 or less all the time. That's not a sale. Not trying to rub it in, just being honest.

Doesn't microsoft have windows 7 & 8(.1) ISOs available on their website free to download? (still require registration key)

IIRC many of those dirt cheap keys are illegal. The keys gets inactive after a period of time.

Not interested in Windows, but that SSD looks good actually. Might even order. Thanks
