Flash Player Ubuntu 14.04 Problems - BlazinBlunts - Apr 25, 2015

I am trying to watch things on Ubuntu via HBO GO, Showtime, Cinemax, Southparkstudios etc.. I am not highly experienced with Linux just made the switch from Win7 to Ubuntu a few days ago due to HDD failure.. I have the flashplayer plugins installed. Youtube videos work but that seems to be the only thing that does lol. When I click play the screens stay blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That means flash is not working. Youtube works because it has HTML5 fallbacks. If you're using a chromium based browser (chromium, chrome etc) go to "about:plugins" and check that Flash Player is actually enabled. If you don't see it, then it's not installed correctly and if that's the case follow this guide.

Did you install Flashplayer from Ubuntu Software Center?

I tried Firefox and Chrome. Chrome has it listed in about:plugins. Both dont seem to work.

Try

Code
sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfree

Restart your browser afterwards.
