Password Brute forcing tool - Slavoj Žižek - Apr 26, 2015

Hey guys I have been working on a password bruter for about 3 days now and decided to make it open source!
its not the best in the world and it 100% needs loads of improvement but here is the place to start!

here is the gifrecorder thingy for it : http://www.mediafire.com/download/8p167jtdw0udd47/bruter.gif
and here is the download link : http://www.mediafire.com/download/buh0q1oys9gkdxc/Guliver.rar
if you are gonna edit and give it away under you're own name then pls add me in the credits!
if you don't trust me then look through the code before running it, but i want to be legit so nothing dodgy here! 😠

Get rid of the adfly, those can only be posted in the Referrals section.

I'm sorry, but this is a very very cheesy way of bruteforcing:
PHP Code

<?php
Dim cc
As New Random
Dim strpos
= ""
While count <= NumericUpDown1.Value - 1
    strpos
= cc.Next(0, pool.Length)

result.Text = result.Text & pool(strpos)

count = count + 1
End
While

This is just trying to guess by using random values.
A better way would be to try all possible combinations 1 by 1:
aaaaa -> aaaab -> aaaac ... etc.

I posted a piece of code that does excactly that in the C# section.

Also, for your next bruteforce app, try using threads as this just hogs your UI thread.

But this is still a nice first attempt though (: keep trying to improve! 👍

It's not well coded, but it works :)
Nice.

You also can convert from c# into vb and other way.

Greetings

Take a look into a ThreadPool bud. You could have a bruteforce firing 10-50 attempts at a time asynchronously.

Hmm, i think a single foreground threat is better for this as it claims higher priority, and managing multiple threads costs you quite a bit of performance.
Just keep that in mind :P (Threadpools are very good for other things though!)

How so? Mind explaining maybe, because this is how i was taught threading.

Is this a bruteforcer for a website? Does it bruteforce a hash? Like how does it know it successfully bruteforced the password?

It bruteforces any login you just click on start and click on the password box in order to know when the password is successfully cracked its up to you😖
