Downtime - Omniscient - Apr 28, 2015
We experienced sustained downtime on Saturday due to an attack that bypassed Cloudflare security features. I spent 4 hours in a support ticket to get them to act with some competence before it was finally resolved.
Today the same style attack got past their security. Either someone has an effective bypass or CF security has stopped working properly. In either case I'm considering options to strengthen our backend to deal with these type of attacks.
In any case. I won't be intimidated by attacks and HF will always come back online. I'll continue to do my best to ensure uptime.

I feel the same when the homepage doesn't load at all(no messages or anything). But, today It showed an cloudflare error which is fine/fixable. 😎

I agree its pointless and childish but there was a host who actually told me that if I got another DDos they would cancel our hosting because it affected other clients. (They offered DDOS protection but couldn't handle DDOS). I left the host and haven't had a problem since.

You should show us the amount of attacks the server went through last week. That would be pretty interesting, if that is possible to do.
