Send data between C# App and php - StackAttack - Apr 29, 2015 I know there's plenty of ways to do this, but can anyone recommend the best/most secure way to send data back and forth between a C#.Net Application and a php document on a web-server? This data would be updating fairly often so perhaps it would be best to use a method which keeps an active connect (WebSockets)? * - BahNahNah - Apr 30, 2015 How often is it updating? you could use webclient with get requests. * - StackAttack - Apr 30, 2015 (Apr 30, 2015 12:03 AM)BahNahNah Wrote: How often is it updating? you could use webclient with get requests. Well, I want to update stuff like ping and some string data real-time (via web-sockets perhaps) but some other less-important data on set intervals. EDIT (For anyone that has this question too): I think I'm going to just connect the C# Program to a socket.io server (via the SocketIO4Net.client api) which would make the connections real-time |
