Closed - LUOIdeRentA - May 8, 2015 Nothing to see here. Thread Closed. * - Ninja - May 8, 2015 Maybe also show the formula used and stuff, because most teachers want to see how you got the answers (calculations) instead of just the answers. * - LUOIdeRentA - May 8, 2015 (May 8, 2015 08:57 AM)Tyranitar Wrote: Maybe also show the formula used and stuff, because most teachers want to see how you got the answers (calculations) instead of just the answers. Yeah, that's what I would do if I were to release it here; I just won't bother if no one is interested though, that's why I'm asking first :P * - Ninja - May 8, 2015 (May 8, 2015 09:00 AM)thevegita730 Wrote: Yeah, that's what I would do if I were to release it here; I just won't bother if no one is interested though, that's why I'm asking first :P This is the VB.NET section. This is to share codes and stuff. * - LUOIdeRentA - May 8, 2015 (May 8, 2015 09:04 AM)Tyranitar Wrote: This is the VB.NET section. This is to share codes and stuff. I know, I have no idea where else to put it. * - Hydra - May 8, 2015 (May 8, 2015 09:04 AM)Tyranitar Wrote: This is the VB.NET section. This is to share codes and stuff. And to show off his program that he coded in .NET. It'd fit in marketplace discussions as he's thinking of releasing it but it should be fine here too. Anyways, I don't think people would buy this, they could use mathway.com, it's more advanced and web-based. * - nuk - May 8, 2015 Not too bad of a start at all! Great work on what you did so far homie ;) +1 from me ;) * - LUOIdeRentA - May 8, 2015 (May 8, 2015 09:08 AM)iHydra Wrote: And to show off his program that he coded in .NET. I dunno about your school but at mine, they all suck at IT and can't even google for a website like mathway.com At my school people would most likely pay 25$+ for this each. On the plus side, coding it actually helps me remember all the formulas lol!! * - 010110101001 - May 9, 2015 Good work, might be useful for others. * - CodeAssassin - May 9, 2015 Would be really cool to to input the values and have a nice gdi+ example draw on the fly. Great idea keep up the good work! * - Ninja - May 9, 2015 Can it calculate backwards? IE. you have an area and a length and need to calculate the angle. * - LUOIdeRentA - May 9, 2015 (May 9, 2015 07:00 AM)Tyranitar Wrote: Can it calculate backwards? It cannot do that at the moment, but I can easily add that if you guys want me to release it or I decide to sell it at school * - ElementalTree - May 9, 2015 People who have to do more difficult equations like me would find this a neat piece of helpware (when its more complete), but still a nice work * - LUOIdeRentA - May 9, 2015 (May 9, 2015 07:31 AM)ElementalTree Wrote: People who have to do more difficult equations like me would find this a neat piece of helpware (when its more complete), but still a nice work Yeah, I had only done about 2 hours of work on it when I posted this on the forum, explaining what it does. As I said, if more people actually want this, then I'll finish it up. * - SIM-574702 - May 9, 2015 I'm working on something similar so I'd like to see how you'd do it. Input the formula of line in any of 3 formats and draw it. This is line I'm thinking of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_(geometry) And the ways to enter are: y=6x+3 or 2x+4y-3=0 or x/4 + y/6 = 1 I'm not sure what you call them in English but they could be implicit, explicit and sedimentary formats. |
