L33T & Ub3r Username Color - Realizm - May 9, 2015
I see a lot of members complain about their name color when they buy an upgrade. And unless they join a usergroup, they have to either be the yellow or blue color. What if there was an option to change your username to white in UserCP's profile options? Just a drop down or a check mark thing where you can pick either the upgrade color or white. I've never liked the ability to change your name color on other forums and their online list looks like a package of skittles. But we already have white as a username color so I don't find it a big deal.

Doesn't really matter in my opinion. But I guess this would be something for people who can't stand green or blue.

I second this. I found the Ub3r color so out of place, and the white from when I was in Polymath just looked so much better imo. (Could just be because I was l33t for around a year)

this would be cool. but you can always buy 3p1c to get the white username
i joined a group so my name wouldnt be green because green is me least favorite color

To me, it's not a big deal at all. If you find someone complaining about the color of their name, HF is not the forum for them.

It's just one of those useless features that would make a few more upgraded members happy. And for normal members who want to upgrade but not be forced to have the username color change it'd be nice.

Don't buy an upgrade then if you really want a white username.

It's ok But It'd be cool if we could have green/Blue names while still using a group userbar.
So we could select to have blue name while in our custom groups :)

They're both white; the ep1c/group is bold though, right?

People upgrade for features and more abilities around the forum. This is just another feature that could make a few upgraded members happy. If you don't want to use the feature you don't have to. But the only reasons I could see for not having this is Omni doesn't have time to implement this or doesn't want members to have the option to do this.

Would like it. No big deal though. Users like me can just switch between default usergroups(Ub3r to 3p1c or vice versa) to change the color. ;) Unless if I want my name in blue while wearing the 3p1c userbar and white while wearing the Ub3r userbar.

I'd love this to be honest. The blue just isn't very appealing in my opinion.
