removed - Mad76e - May 26, 2015 removed. sorry about that guys * - zerocool - May 26, 2015 That's nice a very cool idea, can i ask what camera you used and the software on the pi, have you seen the OS for the PI called motionPI ?
I use that for my security camera. * - ๖ۣۜLax - May 26, 2015 Haha that actually pretty cool! * - Mad76e - May 26, 2015 OS: Kali arm Rpi older version 1.09 https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vmware-arm-image-download/ * - Sandpaper - May 26, 2015 Buy a dragon link and a snobby fpv set, dragon link will give you 25km range from the receiver LOL * - ciocan - May 26, 2015 The big boys with wifi toys :) The best from your video is the MUSIC!!!! It's remember me the good times :) * - Kristof - May 26, 2015 this would be super cool to do on a DJ2 drone, if it could support the weight, then you can land it on top of the house/apt and just leave it parked there for a while without anyone messing with it. * - xF4ULTL1N3x - May 26, 2015 This really is Amazing, Do you mind if I ask for a part out? model numbers, custom wiring, Or do you plan on like copyrighting and selling the design? I'd really like to experiment with this on other mobile objects. :) * - frafri - May 26, 2015 I like the idea ! it made me think of having that but with a drone? I mean how long does it take to get a handshake vs flying time * - xF4ULTL1N3x - May 26, 2015 (May 26, 2015 07:35 PM)frafri Wrote: I like the idea ! it made me think of having that but with a drone? I like this idea a lot. Didn't know these like...miniature linux consoles existed. could find a lot of use with that and a weather proofbox. * - Krueger - May 26, 2015 This looks like an awesome idea mad. I will eventually try this lol :D * - TheGrayAviator - May 26, 2015 (May 26, 2015 02:06 PM)mad76e™ Wrote: Wireless IP-Webcam There are a lot of things that I could improve on that RC truck for you. 1) I'd use a 1.2Ghz video transmitter, less interference and I could have it hooked up to a TV in my lounge room. In addition, it provides great range compared to the IP-based camera. Of course, you could always go with a 4G modem. 2) I'd install an Open source rover controller, so that it could drive itself around the neighborhood while I focus on the War driving, or Wifi Hacking part. 3) I would replace the IP cam with a 700TVL security cam. Its small, light and works great. 4) I love your project, keep it up dude. * - Kristof - May 26, 2015 (May 26, 2015 07:35 PM)frafri Wrote: I like the idea ! it made me think of having that but with a drone? I mean how long does it take to get a handshake vs flying time I had already suggested this you wouldn't need to worry to much about flight time cuz you can land it right on top of the structure or somewhere near by until its done to save energy. * - TheGrayAviator - May 26, 2015 (May 26, 2015 07:35 PM)frafri Wrote: I like the idea ! it made me think of having that but with a drone? With regards to the flight time, there are some drones out there that can fly for around 20 minutes or so, for instance the DJI Phantom 3. I've built a drone but right now, I am not getting the flight time that I want to ~6 minutes. * - Mad76e - May 27, 2015 (May 26, 2015 11:08 PM)TheGrayAviator Wrote: That's what I am going to be doing eventually. I had thought about doing something like that aswell, but I'm afraid that the weight might be a bit to heavy, with the Rpi, Battery pack, wifi-sticks and cables. I might need a oktocopter instead, and I don't have the money for that (May 26, 2015 05:43 PM)xF4ULTL1N3x Wrote: This really is Amazing, Do you mind if I ask for a part out? model numbers, custom wiring, Or do you plan on like copyrighting and selling the design?
