Font Displayer - Find the font for you! - [Eprouvez] - Jun 8, 2015 Font Display App
Hey guys, this is my first release in a while, so let me tell you a bit about this program... I found myself needing to find a font that worked well with my new theme I was developing, so I created an app that showed me all the system fonts, and what a defined string looked like in that font with different styles. If highlighted red, it means that the font style is not available for that particular font. UPDATE: Add the following line in 'Sub MakeFontList' under the first line that says 'ListView1.Items.Clear()', so that the listview resizes with the font size changes. Code ListView1.Font = New Font(ListView1.Font.FontFamily, TrackBar1.Value - 1, FontStyle.Regular)Virus scan: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/a9a7028d3688bec60797eec432e559844dbde771d20ab3cef1592af41f0dfdd1/analysis/1433817970/ Here is the download link to the source :) Download from Mediafire For more fonts try DaFont. This is where I get all my fonts, but for the end user to see the font, they must also have the font installed on their PC. I will work on integrating fonts into apps on design time. Thanks guys, Enjoy! [Eprouvez] * - Velozityâ„¢ - Jun 8, 2015 Posting to look at this later. Thanks OP. * - SIM-1676753 - Jun 8, 2015 Something unique. I like it. * - Fudster - Jun 8, 2015 Nice OP. Do you think you could add a option to include other folders? (custom fonts) * - nuk - Jun 8, 2015 Something different, and USEFUL (for once), in the .NET section! Great work & share OP! Thanks for this ;) * - [Eprouvez] - Jun 8, 2015 (Jun 8, 2015 07:59 PM)Fudsterâ„¢ Wrote: Nice OP. Do you think you could add a option to include other folders? (custom fonts) Hey bro, If the font is installed on the system, it should pick it up. I just installed the barcode font, and the program picked it up. What are you looking to do? Open a font and preview it like windows does? * - SaketSaket - Jun 9, 2015 Nice tiny utility for developers ;) |
