Anyone know anything about cars? Tuning kits? - Adium - Jun 11, 2015

Hi guys,

Just curious, does anyone know anything about tuning kits? I've got a Nissan Micra k12 1.2litre, I'm upgrading to a 2 litre golf in August, until then I want to boost my shitty car a little, what would this actually do?:

Cheers,
B

All that would do is just work your engine a little harder but not by much without a hardware upgrade. Doesn't seem worth buying really. But if you feel like the chance of a tiny difference is worth it then go for it.

I don't think you should bother spending £65 on this shit, it won't do much, if anything at all.

Ahhh, thanks for letting me know :P I was told it could increase bhp by 20-30

It will definitely not boost it by 20-30. Maybe 5. The most these chips really do is improve throttle response and adjust fuel trims slightly.
