Flash Player makes browsers crash and other stuff is not working - Cammy - Jun 20, 2015

Proceeded to install Windows 8.1 because why the hell not

Problem is, whenever I open a webpage that uses Flash the browser crashes most of the time. Happens on both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Tried numerous things in an attempt to fix it but doesn't seem change its behaviour.

Teamviewer has problems too, I can connect to other computers just fine but when I try to connect to my own computer (from my desktop for example) nothing happens. A mate of mine tried connecting too but that wouldn't work either. Disabling firewall and all that good stuff doesn't help either.

I also would like to mention I am running some older drivers from Acer for my GPU because any other drivers fuck it all up and display flashing lines across the screen all the time.

Everything works on Windows 7 (I have dual boot) so my guess is that this installation is faulty.

TL;DR Flash Player + Teamviewer aren't working properly, GPU drivers are shit and I have yet to find out more stuff that isn't working either lol.

So, does anyone know how I fix this? I haven't downloaded anything sketchy but it may be something from my W7 installation fucking it up so that's why I'm posting here.

I am in training, but just follow this,

Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
  • Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.

  • Press Scan button.

  • It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.

  • Please copy and paste the log back here

  • The first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe). Please also paste that along with the FRST.txt into your reply.

FRST.txt
Addition.txt

Click each to view the logs.

Weird... Id make sure your not infected anything by doing a full computer scan with Comodo AntiVirus which is free, if nothing comes up, try reinstalling the most updated version of Flash and Java. If all else fails, factory reset your computer. Good Luck!

Just because comodo does not find anything does not mean he has to factory reset.🙃

I am going to pm a guy to get this going faster.

EDIT: your problem is NOT malware related.

No? Alright, I be closing this thread then, only reason I opened it was because perhaps some shit from Windows 7 dual boot fucked it up.
