I'm on verizon edge an I want to sale my phone but what could I tell verizon so I don't have to send my phone to them in order to get another one

It's $299 if you don't return a device if you are trying to upgrade early. If you have already paid off your current device and have had it more than a year, I believe you just pay a $40 upgrade fee. I'm not 100% sure of that though, since I'm a verizon customer, but not using edge.
