Introduction
This thread is an informative thread about picking up girls, talking with girls, and possibly going further with them. There is no "walkthrough" when it comes to picking up girls, but I'll be sharing methods and tips that have personally helped me, or have been proven to work effectively. Do not expect this thread to spoonfeed you. You will most definitely learn from reading this thread, but I'm not a magician. Without further ado, let's begin.
Looks & Personality
If you're under the impression that you can only pick up girls if you look like Zayn Malik, you're wrong. While looks most certainly do matter, they probably don't mean as much as you think. I'm going to sum up some things that will help you when picking up girls regarding your looks. Maybe you don't notice these things, but most girls definitely do, and changing these aspects can cause you to succeed or fail.
• Teeth & Breath
- While most of you probably take good care of your teeth, some of you may not. It's best if your teeth are white and shining, but the key here is to make sure they don't look all too bad. Brush your teeth twice a day and you should be fine. Make sure you wash your mouth with something that smells comfortable such as mint, but don't go around chewing gum all day, too much doesn't help at all.
• Eyebrows
- I can't stress this enough. Most guys just disregard their eyebrows entirely because they regard altering eyebrows as feminine. Well, a mono-brow doesn't look good on anyone, that's one thing I can say for sure. You don't have to pluck, wax and arch your eyebrows. Just pluck the stray hairs and the hairs between your eyebrows that are unnecessary. Doing this can completely change the way your face looks, and it always does in a positive way making you more attractive.
• Hair & Facial hair
- This should go without notice, but you should take care of your hair and facial hair. Just make sure they look smooth and you should be fine.
• Cologne
- I'm someone that loves cologne. I own a lot of fragrances. I can't believe how much cologne has helped me when picking up girls. Believe me when I say girls will know if you just sprayed Axe deodorant all over your body (which most of them don't like) or if you're rocking a fragrance from Paco Rabanne. You don't have to use high-end expensive fragrances. I own fragrances ranging from $20 to $120, both of them help when picking up girls and are the cause of a lot of compliments I get.
• Clothes
- You don't have to wear expensive clothes to pick up girls. Just make sure your clothes don't have any holes in them. Sometimes wearing a shirt with a joke on it can work in your favor. Don't take it to another level by wearing a "I love Katy Perry" shirt though.
Those were my tips regarding looks. I'll talk about personality now. You don't have to change your personality to talk with girls, you just have to come over as confident. Make sure you're confident and not cocky. Achieving confidence is different for everyone, and we'll talk about that later. Make sure you're not standing there awkwardly and creeping her out. Watch her in the eye constantly, but don't stare. When you look away, do it with a reason like taking a look at a loud sound or swiftly checking your phone. Make sure you're talking loud enough, just a little bit louder than her. If you have to repeat something, take the volume up a notch.
Comfort Zone & Failure
We'll be talking about something you've probably already heard at least once; the comfort zone. The comfort zone is a zone in which you're comfortable with what you're doing. Let's say you're playing some Xbox live, that's within your comfort zone, you're comfortable doing it. Outside the comfort zone lies the panic zone. This is where anxiety levels rise and you are starting to stress. An example of when you're in the panic zone is when you are getting robbed. In between the comfort zone and the panic zone is where we want to be: the learning zone. This is where most guys will see themselves in when talking to random girls. If you're able to expand your comfort zone so that it covers more of the learning zone, great things will happen. To do this, you have to engage in activities that you are slightly uncomfortable with. If you keep doing this, you'll eventually experience them as comfortable.
When trying to pick up girls you will experience failure. You will feel down because you failed. And that has to happen in order for you to grow. We fall to stand up once more. If a girl turned you down, you probably wouldn't like her as a person to begin with. Don't think too much of it and try again.
Approach
Your approach depends on the girl you're talking to. If a girl is shy you want to come off as confident, but make sure you don't scare her off by being too forward or aggressive. Take it easy and move on from there. If you're talking to a girl that society deems a "bitch" you'll want to be as confident as possible. If she insults you, joke it off and turn her own insult into a compliment. Do it in a funny way and you might be able to get good results. I haven't met a girl that doesn't like guys with humor, excluding when they were on their period or pissed off. Try to have them hooked on what you're going to say within the first 2 sentences. If you do it in a funny way they're bound to hear you out, just out of sheer curiosity. Also, don't take the long way. If there's a girl you like in class, you don't sit one table away from her, you sit next to her and talk to her.
During the approach, you should immediately introduce yourself and make her do the same, so she'll feel compelled to stay and listen to you.
Conversation & Texting
After you succeed with the initial approach, you can go various ways. You can go straight to the point, you can tan talk for a while, it doesn't matter too much. The point is to keep her interested. You should make her feel like she's known you for ages. Take risks and don't play it safe all the time, if you play it safe she'll get bored. After talking for a while, ask for her number if you don't have it already and leave. When you have her number, don't wait a few days to text her. Text her that same night or the next day, you won't come over as desperate. If you like a girl you should go for her as soon as possible, that's what most girls think as well.
When you're texting a girl you should make her feel the same thing as when you're talking to her in real life. Engage in flirty/slightly sexual jokes and keep her interested. Don't wait too long with asking her to grab some coffee some time or to go on a date together.
Dates
Dates are meant to get to know each other better. That's why most people don't recommend going to places such as the movies on the first date, because you'll be spending most of your time without talking much. Engage in an activity that is open to conversation. Don't ask her about things you can talk about any time, ask her questions that would be considered personal. If you know the girl from school, don't talk about school. If you know her from the gym, don't talk about the gym. Simple as that. Games such as truth or dare and ask me anything are fun activities to do, but stop immediately when they begin feeling just a little bit boring. Don't be shy to kiss on the first date as well, most girls actually want this, but don't want to feel conscious about the fact that they kissed you. You don't ask it, you just do it. The worst thing that could happen is that she refuses. You can just hit her up later to talk about it and you'll know how to act the next time.

I personally avoid most of them dating-wise because they're full of themselves. Though I have a lot of friends that are bitches. I just don't like dating them, way too much drama.

No. If you work hard enough you can get over being antisocial. Used to be pretty antisocial myself, but now I can talk for hours with a stranger.
