Google does a summary that is very visually appealing, but it doesn't give us a lot of information to go with. It doesn't list all feedback responses, and only truly lists the votes given, the median, and mode.

At the end of the survey, I had roughly 320 responses. I deleted invalid responses to the point of 230 exactly.

Throughout this survey, I had big issues with two groups. One being Echo, and the other Instinct. A majority of members would troll the survey by rating Instinct 10 and Echo 1, and vice versa. I deleted those responses. Actions like this in the name of your group represent poorly on your maturity and group image. I don't consider actions like that beneficial in any manner and it's a waste of our time.

Don't be a shithead, shitheads.

If you would like to see what individuals wrote regarding group feedback, please click the following link and scroll and to the bottom, as visually that is the best format I can present it in. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1f5zx15iEWzADLBikNg4ENYu5KG4-LgQJ9JYsk0e1t1w/viewanalytics

Best to worst.
Assume statistical bias since I'm the contest holder and members are more willing to evaluate my group as being better. So, disregard my group's position.

Hexicidal's personal notes.

For a long time I have defended groups for their direction and status on the forum. I love to see other members succeed and continue to push the limit of their endeavors. However, in recent times I see nearly all groups falling short of any respectable status. Groups owners need to get their shit together. There are only three groups on this forum that are worth anything.

My new approach to student entry... Buy ins have been the downfall of my group previously, I hope to keep it different this time. I don't know how successful I will be on that front though. I want new members that wish to engage in something different and provide a new setting of variety to my subforum.

I can effectively divide HF groups into two sections.

Low activity and quality discussions.

High activity and nothing but shit posts.

There is an level of equilibrium that is very difficult to achieve for group activity, and I don't feel that any group is a master of this. Not like internal group activity matters much anyway. All groups are, are outsider's perspective on the users that wear said userbar.

That you everyone for engaging in the survey. I will have one again in the future, stay tuned.

What about the third section?
Low activity and no discussion

We call those groups waiting to be sold.

I think the issue these days is the actual audience, the current active members of HackForums. It seems like everyone's a young teenager that hate everything for no reason judging from the comments only. Anyway, nice of you to do a survey like this, it should help group owners and leaders think about how to approach the future of HF and how they present the group.

Seeing all the animeFAN! hate hurts. 4 years I've worked on that group and most people can only muster up a "its fucking dumb" response because they don't like anime.

* - Roger Waters - Jun 23, 2015

Surprised at how high some of these got, including the group I lead. I'm not sure groups as a whole are any higher than a 5.

* - custer - Jun 23, 2015

Good statistics, I was surprised that titans were place so high considering it's a completely open group currently.

I feel that AnimeFAN! has the most dedicated community base of HF, and by far enjoys their theme the most.

Tell them that their ewhoring is fucking dumb and they would shit their pants.

Open due to the carnival in which any member can join and play games. Now this is over they're soon to be kicked again back to the original member list.

I am very confused as to how Red Lions is rated higher than AnimeFAN.

Thank you - shoot the message to Tweety too seem as hes the reason it ever got a group in the first place. I just often shake my head at how many people are ignorant on this forum. By the way enjoyed the survey, what's next on your "to-do-list"?

There are quite a few articulate members on HF that are a joy to have in the community. I was reflecting on this last night actually. There aren't many older members left by any stretch, which is a complete shame.

I don't think anything will change, and I don't feel that the groups have any interest to change either.

If I had another group, I would branch out farther.

* - Foundatons - Jun 23, 2015

The results are what i expected of most of the groups some where not what i expected though.

* - Kayoz - Jun 23, 2015

Haven't been in a group in like 6-7 months but Instinct is the one I like best right now just because of the social aspect, humor and gaming section.

Its really a good move Hex to survey and get an good overview of groups, but I see so many trolls as well. I really think you should internally survey groups, you could start with your group and then with the help of group leaders do it internally and I don't really know what you found out with these stats but the reviews "i like sex, i hate indians etc etc" is something ya shall avoid getting.

Good job on the initiative though.

I'm sure all the group leaders if join their forces it would be a good change at HF, making th groups relevant to the site/your life.
