A friend of mine is looking to get into all of this kind of stuff, but they told me they are unable to post in this section as they "do not meet the requirements".
I was never aware of any post reqs for this section, what may they be?

Omniscient received a complain about the RAT section being too "LQ".
On business' thread you can see that Omniscient took action ;p
Sorry I couldn't provide the link to that thread. Maybe Business will pop in and help you out with the link ;p
I think it's like 30+ posts to post in the RAT section (and positive rep)
All that can be bypassed if you are an upgraded member.
