Umaru is a girl who at school is gifted both with brains and good looks, but this is just a facade. At home she absorbs herself completely in lazing about with games, anime, and the Internet! The slapstick comedy “Himouto! Umaru-chan” begins July 9!

Story:
Umaru Doma is a flawless high school girl admired by everyone for her stunning looks, superior grades, and all-around athleticism. But when she gets home she transforms into a lazy slob who absorbs herself in the art of lazing about playing games, watching anime, and trolling the net while chowing down on potato chips and drinking soda. The only one who knows this side of Umaru is her older brother, Taihei, whom she lives with. So begins Umaru’s extreme everyday life…!

Looks pretty funny imo, also probably going to be popular given the premise. I also have a feeling this will come with a bunch of memes

Just checked out a bit of the manga lol, I think the anime is going to be funnier cause of sound effects etc, hopefully this plays out well ^^

First episode just aired, seemed like introduction basically. I just wonder wth its gonna be about lol I\ll keep watching for now. A lot of great gifs can be made from this

I watched the first episode and I wonder why I did that, the moment the "cute girl" shrank I got disappointed. Seems fun anyways, but I won't be watching it.

I'd much rather see the cute girl as well, but the chibi form is very befitting.
The first episode was good, I loved all the anime and game references.

I absolutely lost it when she transformed.

I enjoy nearly every comedy with chibi. I will definitely be watching this.
