"Can i haz lock?" A screen lock app with UAC fade effect - Dangerous Beef - Jul 6, 2015

Hello, I've been tinkering with different ways to lock my screen when i finally made it "impossible" to bypass in practical means.

Features
Completely blocks ALT+TAB and Windows Key
Disables Task Manager
When in locked state the application fades the background with a black color(This can be changed within the SC)
Quick Unlock - When the correct password is entered it automatically unlocks.
Ability to change password.

Bug(s)
When using the hotkey the application will freeze for a moment, I'm unsure what causes this but I'm guessing it have something to do with having multiple keyboard hooks. Hopefully someone better experienced than me will come up with a solution.

Possible Issues
This might not work with anything except for Windows 7 due to Windows 8 has a few more ways to "Bypass" the application.

Credits
I didn't write the keyhooks or the UAC fade effects, The link to the writers are in the source code.

Note
I didn't comment on most of the code but i think you'll find most of the code readable.

Good project if it's your first. Look into secure desktops (this is where UACs are spawned, and is a totally seperated environment). Additionally apply some security measures to checking/storing key. Forexample, hash the password, clear the PCs memory of the non-hashed password, and then everytime someone attempts to login, it's hashed, and checked against the stored hash. If there's a hash mismatch, then simply don't let them in, you could also add a score to a lockdown counter, and if say, the password has been entered incorrectly 4 times, you'll have to wait some minutes to try again.

It's not my first project. Also what do you mean by Secure Desktops ?

I figured confusion would occur. I updated my initial response.

You start by changing your password to a new 5 character long one, then you enter "test" to unlock which is only 4 characters 😧

I had enabled quick unlock which automatically triggers DoUnlock that's why.

If I have dual monitors, if it locks one can I still use the other?

I actually had that in mind when i first started thinking about the features but i soon came to the realization that it wasn't needed since there is "no-way" they could actually check the registry without rebooting and logging in with the Windows logon password which is already NTLM encrypted. Or detaching the HDD and look through the registry keys that way both of which is improbable.

This will allow you to hack NSA by using the 1337leet 0-day exploit that my dog made for me. What is does it tricks the NSA minibar computer into thinking it's drunk and gives you access.
/s

It looks your screen making you unable to do anything except for typing in the correct password.
