[Photoshop CS6] Flat/Basic Web Design Mockup - XuidDump - Jul 13, 2015

Created this mockup for an idea that I had in mind.
Do you think this would look well on the web?

The Mockup:

Opinions, feedback, and constructive criticism is appreciated.

I actually really like that. I'm not a design expert by any stretch and I'm sure someone'll find something to critique, but looks great man.

Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback :)
In case you're wondering this took a few hours to make as I was planning/trying things out as I made it.

Flat style doesn't have partially divided elements. Specialy not with that much negative space. Its nowhere near flat, even in a stage of mockup. I'd advise you to read some articles regarding flat workflow.
Hope that watermark background is your default canvas not a watermark. Otherwise your ego will never allow you to be even decent in any field of expertise. Peace

Really simple, and appealing to the eye.
P.s. I'm a fan of that "color" scheme. ;)

Artists regularly brand their work when it's placed in a public venue to prevent theft. If you don't know that, you shouldn't even begin to critique the design.

I have read a thing or two about intellectual property and copyright if that counts 😊

They usually brand it once, at the bottom. They don't make a pattern out of their name and put their name as the background. He knows what he's talking about. You do not. From what I can see (because all I see is your tacky name), there is nothing special about this. It's monotonous and does not stand out. I suggest going to different websites and look for some inspiration.

1) Sure, once at the bottom. Easily removed.
2) He put it as a pattern temporarily. If you think he'd give that to anyone (short of demonstration purposes) you're utterly retarded.
3) If my name is the only thing you can see on his design, you need to get your eyes checked. This has to be the weakest argument and weakest insult I've ever seen.
4) Eh, I liked it. You claim it's nothing special, looks just fine to me. Opinionated.
5) K.

1) There's an article here about copyright information, maybe you should read it.
2) That's why he asked if it was a watermark. But since you are incompetent, you had no idea and said it was him branding.
3) Excuse me, I meant his name.
4) I was critiquing him at this point. It is opinionated. That's why it's my critique.
5) Nice try.

Looks like a generic layout that is usually seen around other forums, mostly minecraft forums.

1) You act like copyright means anything on the internet. Sure it exists and there are laws in place but nothing's going to be done should someone take OP's design.
2) Mmk.

Welcome to the ignore list kiddo. May want to change your name to something other than a kid's television and movie series. 🤝

I like the concept but, don't hate me,

it looks literally like a blogger/blogspot default theme.

You just contradicted yourself.

But darn, I'm really upset that I won't be able to message you now. I am interested at what your definition of kiddo is.

Whatever will I do?

everything is wrong about this... thing.
- your nav bar is off centered.
- you have some sort of grid going on but you're not following it
- you're mixing left, center, right aligned text.
- your obnoxious 'brandmark' in the background is obnoxious. no one's going to want to steal your, thing, anyways.
- everything is monotoned.
- if you're going to make a mock up, at least try to fill the text in with stuff that makes sense. no one's going to have 3 columns of whatever fake trademark information they have.
