Install windows 7 on windows 8 - Printable Version

Install windows 7 on windows 8 - Kokomikta152 - Jul 17, 2015

I have a laptop with windows 8 on it.
And i want to install windows 7 on it.

The laptop have no cd-dirve so its need to be with USB & the windows dont let me install windows 7 on it because a newer version is installed on it (win8).
after searching in google i think i need to :
1.somehow make my DOK be an windows 7 installer (dont know how).
2.going into bios format the drive and load the DOK and install the windows 7.


please help guys, got to install this windows 7 today its really urgent.

The easiest way is to get any Live Linux distro and run it, remove Windows 8. Then use the USB stick with Windows 7.

You need to clean format your laptop to install Windows 7 use Rufus to create bootable Windows 7 USB drive. If your installing 32-bit version of the Windows 7 then disable UEFI and Secure Boot from BIOS setup utility. If your installing 64-bit version of Windows 7 then only disable Secure Boot and create bootable UEFI Windows 7 USB drive with Rufus utility.
