[TUT] Useful logo effect, yet simple [Beginners] - SnowreyHS - Jul 25, 2015

Hey guys, so this effect is quite simple to do yet really effective. This is done by many people but I know many unexperienced people may not seem to know this!

So let's start!

Final Look:

First of all start off by making a simple (for example) rectangle shape like a square. And adding a simple color to it like this:

Next, you get in the pen tool and do something like this (But be sure to make a new layer first):

Then right click and select make selection and pick a color of the shape you made and darken the color of it.

Then go create clipping mask, lower the opacity the bit and with the soft brush tool delete a few parts on the top and bottom. And you can also move them wherever you want.

Sorry for no images, I cannot share links yet! :/
