Cant Delete ubuntu parttition in windows? [fixed] - GewooE - Jul 30, 2015 Hey Hackforums I have a problem i wanted to delete Ubuntu from my dual boot so i followed this tutorial. So i followed everything he sayed. But when i am at the part to delete the partition after deleting the volume (in the video around 6:00) I am getting a error saying there is not enough space on the disk (screenshot) So what do i have to do to fix this? Thanks in advance! * - Freebooter - Jul 30, 2015 Try formatting the Ubuntu partition from Windows Disk Management console then try deleting the partition. * - GewooE - Jul 30, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 03:34 AM)Freebooter Wrote: Try formatting the Ubuntu partition from Windows Disk Management console then try deleting the partition. You can use the diskpart utility that comes with Windows. * - GewooE - Jul 30, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 04:33 AM)TheGrayAviator Wrote: You can use the diskpart utility that comes with Windows. But how can i select the ubuntu partition? When i run the command list disk in diskpart, it gives me only my c drive. (scr) * - Freebooter - Jul 30, 2015 Try not use Diskpart command as it can be very danger's if you don't know how to use it, Disk Management console is where you have post screenshot of it in your thread select the Ubuntu partition and select Format. Could you then post a screen shot of what it looks like? * - GewooE - Jul 30, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 05:15 AM)TheGrayAviator Wrote: Go to CMD type diskpart, then type list partition. I'm sorry but i can't find the option to format this are all the options it gives me. Here it is (scr) * - TheGrayAviator - Jul 30, 2015 From the screen shot, I am guessing your Ubuntu Partition is number 0. * - GewooE - Jul 30, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 05:39 AM)TheGrayAviator Wrote: From the screen shot, I am guessing your Ubuntu Partition is number 0. So now i have to clean that partition and then im done? I fixed the problem there was an other partition that was "living" in the ubuntu partition so i had to delete the other partition before i was able to delete the ubuntu partition.
