Ranked 5 pages up! No spam! only 500 views! Mastered ranking? - ∑clipse™ - Jul 30, 2015 I just looked at my channel with a video of only 400 views, with optimum on-page seo and no boosting/spam of any kind to any of the videos on that channel. I almost gave up as it only reached 5th page for a 46k result keyword, which is pretty good, and now that it's 500 views, I'm on 1st page, 6th position. No boosting whatsoever, only 17 Subs and 700 total channel views. And yes, I did logout, clear browsing data, use a new browser and saw that rank. I know it changes your rank if you're signed in, although it was real and different as to when I'm signed in. I guess I can say that's amazing. I've learnt so much and I feel like I can manage to rank any video and make profit as long as I can somehow manage to prevent videos from getting banned, that's the problem. * - ∑clipse™ - Jul 30, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 10:38 PM)Yani Wrote: Youtube doesn't only check your numbers but also if the users that see your video continue to other videos. Yep I know, that's called View retention. But good point, it truly is a big factor in ranking. 👍 * - Sweet16Mike - Aug 2, 2015 wow, i read through your threads, you really are the master of YT 😁 * - Grimeta - Aug 9, 2015 This is like the 4th thread I stumble upon on PPD section you made about youtube ranking. How is youtube related to CPA? Youtube and other social networking should be discussed here: Social Networking Edit: Wrong there are at least 8 threads you created completely about youtube on CPA section, all within last month. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4902362 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4908951 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4909016 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4912820 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4912699 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4929630 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4931390 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4929944 * - Chris CPA - Aug 9, 2015 (Jul 30, 2015 10:38 PM)Yani Wrote: Youtube doesn't only check your numbers but also if the users that see your video continue to other videos. I think there is a silver lining to that. After all YouTube does want you to stay on their website so they can make money from selling ad space, and what not. That's why they have suggested videos on the right hand side that are related to your video. I strongly believe that interaction plays a big part (sharing the link, likes, comments, subscriptions, and views) as well as good SEO for the initial launch of the video. * - Grimeta - Aug 10, 2015 (Aug 9, 2015 06:01 PM)Chris CPA Wrote: I think there is a silver lining to that. Youtube might want user to watch other videos, but logically if user finds whatever he was looking for in the video #1, he shall not proceed looking further. Unless of course it's another video from the same uploader. |
