Bought a Mac! - Redundant - Aug 10, 2015
I bought the 13" Macbook pro
512GB SSD
16GB DDR3 Ram
3.1GHz i7 processor
Don't ask how much I paid for it 😑, but so far I am loving it personally.
Mainly using it for building designs and they have a lot better battery life compared to other manufacturers from what I've found, heard, seen, myself.
Using it for my college program and hopefully into the future, so it's more of an investment than just bought out of the blue.
What are some tips and tricks that some mac users can tell me? Grew up on windows, so I am not used to mac completely yet.

My Dad is about to buy me one as opposed to the same priced Asus quad core...
But it's either asus only or macbook + pc parts so.. I'm bought.
13" retina w/ i5 dual core or some bollocks like that.

I have similar one with lower Hardware but i am pleased. Really MAC batter than PC i would say.

Congrats OP I'm looking to buy the same one you are but with slightly lower specs. How are you liking the force touch track pad?

Macbook pro is an awesome device but it really takes a hefty price out of your wallet and the specs aren't on a price to performance ratio.... but its worth it. Its portable,fast,and gets the job done.
Also might i add that i cannot use a "normal" laptop anymore because of the MBP's awesome Force Touch
I also think if they could have designed it with a material similar to aluminum but not aluminum the price could have been lowered but its apple and aluminum is their "thing"
