[Tutorial] How to access HackForums with a VPN - morph - Aug 12, 2015

Method 1: Automatically add routes with a program
Method 2: Adding the routes manually
  • 1. Getting the IP addresses of HackForums
    • You can use whatever service you want for this step, but I recommend using this site. I got these IP addresses: 141.101.121.10, 141.101.121.11, 141.101.121.12, 141.101.121.13 and 141.101.121.9


    2. Getting the default gateway
    • Open up Command Prompt as Administrator, type in ipconfig and hit enter.
      Find the default gateway for the adapter you are using. In my case, is 192.168.1.1


    3. Adding the routes
    • Now that we got HF's IP addresses and the Default Gateway, we can add the routes!
      To add a route, simply type "route add HackForumsIP DefaultGateway".
      For the first IP in my case, I would type "route add 141.101.121.10 192.168.1.1". Repeat this step for every IP you got in the first step and after that you will be able to access HackForums with a VPN.

The tutorial uses your real IP when accessing HF, which allows you to leave your vpn on for other things...

Nice tutorial, great for the people out there who didn't know about this.

It might be good to add the the op as well that you delete a route by just typing delete instead of add.

He's not showing you how to access HF with a VPN.

He is showing how you can access HF with your real IP, whilst having a VPN on using other things.
