Which firewall for Windows 10? - Silver Fang - Aug 12, 2015 Hiyah As i'm using windows 10 at the moment on this system i would like to know which firewall i should go with. I've always been with comodo however now when i upgraded from windows 8.1 pro to windows 10 pro comodo doesn't seem to work, i've really tried everything. So as long comodo doesn't work for windows 10 which firewall should i go with? Thanks in advance. * - iamnotsure - Aug 12, 2015 You can use tinywall firewall * - Starki - Aug 12, 2015 Like the user above me said, Tinywall is a very lightweight and effective firewall which is compatible with Windows 10. http://tinywall.pados.hu/ * - Silver Fang - Aug 13, 2015 I was gonna go with GlassWire, anyone tried it? * - ๖ۣۜFazzer - Aug 13, 2015 Why do you even need a firewall? I don't understand Why do you even need a firewall? I don't understand * - Silver Fang - Aug 13, 2015 (Aug 13, 2015 04:11 AM)๖ۣۜFazzer Wrote: Why do you even need a firewall? I don't understand This should be quite obvious. But okey, 1. To see ingoing connections, if possible jacks. 2. To see outgoing connections, if possible jacks 3. To be able to see what uses the connection and to where etc. * - Charles Carmichael - Aug 13, 2015 Hmmm Tinywall vs Glasswire? Up's / Downs? * - Silver Fang - Aug 14, 2015 (Aug 13, 2015 08:31 AM)Mаcro Wrote: Hmmm Tinywall vs Glasswire? Up's / Downs? What i wonder also... anyone? Tinywall is based on windows firewall if im not mistaken so it's only about incoming connections not outgoing? * - Ta-kun - Aug 14, 2015 I use GlassWire all the time, I see nothing wrong with it, but I've never used Tinywall so I couldn't say which is better. This is how I look at it though, if you really want to know which one is right for you then use both, that's probably your best bet. |
