How to get any username on HF AKA Invisible Character - MarSy - Aug 15, 2015

Hey

So I've seen many people posting about this, not sure if this has been shared before.

It's easy af, there is basically an "invisible character" that you need to insert in your "original" userna⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯me .

Here it is "⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯", There are around 5 of them between the quotation marks. Just copy the whole thing and remove both marks, then you will be left with the char. Just ctrl + a it and copy it and paste it in your username.

Example :

Without the char "Example" With the char "E⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯⁯xample"

This is bad as it can cause issues regarding awards, scam reports and even upgrades been given out incorrectly.

I'm pretty sure it is. %50 of the ub3rs use this anyways 😉

There is no way to stop it on HF as of right now, only issue is that if you were to get an award etc then it might not be put on your profile due to invisible characters.

It depends on the browser, and on mobile you'll most likely see it.
