Impreza front end finished - UTRONEX - Aug 16, 2015
Been working on my bumper for a few weeks now. Thought I'd show some pictures. Done all this with no help and no previous experience so really happy with how it's turned out.
Modified top and bottom grills (top purely for cosmetic reasons, bottom ready for my front mount intercooler).
Relocated number plate (again, for the intercooler).
Made a prodrive number plate delete to go over the number plate holes that were left.
Pink Subaru badge to stay with the pink/ grey theme of the car.
Fog light covers in place of the lights.
Custom cover sticker.

Modifications so far:
EJ201 engine conversion (non turbo to turbo).
That included box, ecu, loom etc.
WRX spoiler (will be getting swapped soon for either an STI one or a Spec C. Haven't decided yet, like both.
Everything mentioned above.
New tyres all round.
New drop links.
Gear and diff oil change.
Plans:
Wheels refurbished.
Lowered a little but not too much.
New exhaust, sounds a little shit at the moment it's just noise no real note to it.
Unequal headers.
More power.
Some more stuff I can't think of right now I'll keep it updated.

Insurance is surprisingly not that bad. Other "normal" cars would actually cost me more.
I think insurance companies think that if you have a nicer car your more likely to look after it instead of driving like a cunt :)

Don't listen to any of the bullshit all over the scooby forums about "go buy a turbo and blah blah" have a look on eBay and the scooby forums for people breaking a wrx or an sti (depending on what power you'd like). You'll need the engine+ turbo, manifold, gearbox, ecu and loom. After that your probably going to want it remapped to make sure everything is running how it should be.
