Post this dumb shit in the beginner section. Hahahahahahahahaha... Loosen up and answer the question. Hacking remote pc via ip address and open tcp port is not for beginners. I use metaspoit / armitage for remote pc penetration testing but I was told there are paid penetration tools that are more effective than metasploit / armitage in exploiting remote pc. I would like to know the name of such penetration tools? Thanks * - burnct - Aug 17, 2015 (Aug 17, 2015 06:19 AM)Pottercypher Wrote: I would like to know the name of such penetration tools? Thanks Cobalt Strike is basically a more enhanced version of Armitage. The license will set you back about $3k though. * - Pottercypher - Aug 18, 2015 (Aug 17, 2015 07:18 PM)burnct Wrote: Cobalt Strike is basically a more enhanced version of Armitage. There are many, many ways to go about "hacking" any given system or network, and you don't need a 3 grand tool for any of them. And also, I'm not really sure I understand your question. You want to know the difference between "hacking" a remote PC and a remote website? You know how client-server architecture works, right? * - Culperring722 - Aug 19, 2015 (Aug 17, 2015 03:15 AM)Pottercypher Wrote: Hello Hack Forums Websites are hosted on servers like windows 2008 server, ect and would most likely have port 80/8080,ftp,telnet,ssh open for management or they may be closed just depends. Servers are meant to be harden and more secure. Webservers are typically found in side a DMZ A PC home computer would be running something like windows 7,8,osx,ect. Would most likely have flash or java installed, and is something your end user would be using. To sum this up there is no difference a computer is a computer, and a vulnerability is a vulnerability doesn't matter if its on the end user computer (PC) or on the server(website). They both have their vulns zero days, flaws , ect. But in general servers are suppose to be more secure than regular PCs. |
