That is a VERY large number. In the ballpark of 152billion if i did my math right. To store 152billion 8 character strings in a file, you will need one trillion two hundred sixteen billion bytes of storage. Or 1.26 Terabytes / 1260 Gigabytes. What do you need this for? There might be a better way to do this. * - Connected09 - Aug 20, 2015 (Aug 20, 2015 07:46 AM)chick3nman Wrote: Just for the record, Crunch can probably do this and I'll look into how in just a moment since i have Crunch, but you need to realize how many combinations/permutations 8 lowercase characters makes. Hashcat can brute force by loading values on the fly, meaning you wont need a wordlist that takes up more than a Terabyte. There's a good tutorial written by w34k in the Hashing and Ciphers section if you need help. Or you can just ask questions here. |
