Pastebin Uploader - VmX5 - Aug 21, 2015 Okay so I saw a guy asking about this so I decided to make one myself so heres the source! (No VT because its the source)
![]() The textbox beside the button is where the link will appear after you create your paste. Download : https://www.sendspace.com/file/r2g4x6 This uses Webbrowser instead of Pastebin's API * - wilfriedp - Aug 21, 2015 You can add categories, mode (private, public, unlisted) or time, it's all in the API. &api_paste_format=vb&api_paste_private=0&api_paste_expire_date=1H But thank you for sharing! * - VmX5 - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:05 AM)wilfriedp Wrote: You can add categories, mode (private, public, unlisted) or time, it's all in the API. That's the point of it though I didn't want to use the API 😝 But Thanks for the feedback! * - Strintent - Aug 21, 2015 Thanks for this :) I'll download it later :) * - VmX5 - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:07 AM)Strintent Wrote: Thanks for this :) I'll download it later :) Np! Lol This was made for you! * - Strintent - Aug 21, 2015 Guessed so :) Cheers i think ive managed to do it with the API but this way looks abit more efficient * - Nikey646 - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:08 AM)Strintent Wrote: Guessed so :) Cheers i think ive managed to do it with the API but this way looks abit more efficientLoading IE into your application is more "efficient" than sending a simple post request (Disclaimer: I've never even looked at the Pastebin API, and it may actually be a get request)....Either you are talking out of your ass because you have no idea what you are doing, or you are really stupid. Either way it doesn't bode well for you. To prevent this post from being deleted for being off topic, let me explain why using a webbrowser is a horrible way to do this.
(*May not actually be the entire engine, but it does use the Rendering Engine and other core portions for IE) While i have not looked at the source code (And will not bother, since it's a download, rather than a simple github / bitbucket / pastebin link), i can pretty much promise that if this application used Web Requests of some sort (HttpWebRequest, WebClient, HttpClient, or even going low level and using a TcpClient/Socket) it will be roughly ∞ times faster than using the stock standard WebBrowser component. I could also promise that if either of you had searched the forums, you would have noticed that there are many releases that do exactly this. So while this project may have been good for practice, it is nothing revolutionary, and sadly you have gone about it in the worst possible way. * - Strintent - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:43 AM)Nikey646 Wrote: Either you are talking out of your ass because you have no idea what you are doing, or you are really stupid. I was only trying to be nice xD no need to get all agitated over it xD * - Nikey646 - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:49 AM)Strintent Wrote: I was only trying to be nice xD no need to get all agitated over it xDTrying to be nice about what? By saying that using an entire web browser to load a single page, to just submit a single post request which could be done through a publicly available API is more efficient than using a single web request? And all i did was state a fact (You either don't know what you are talking about, or truly believe what you are saying, meaning that you are not the brightest person in the world), and then proceeded to explain why...I really don't see how looking at something logically like that is getting agitated? lol. * - Strintent - Aug 21, 2015 The guy clearly went out of his way to try and explain something to me that i didnt understand but by the time he had made it i had realized and studied the code here http://pastebin.com/api#2 and managed to do it in vb so i was just saying thanks for doing it * - Nikey646 - Aug 21, 2015 (Aug 21, 2015 06:58 AM)Strintent Wrote: The guy clearly went out of his way to try and explain something to me that i didnt understand but by the time he had made it i had realized and studied the code here http://pastebin.com/api#2 and managed to do it in vb so i was just saying thanks for doing it...Have you even re-read the post i originally quoted? And incase you still do not understand, that statement implies that using a WebBrowser is "a bit more efficient" than using WebRequests and the API. See the problem? If not, don't bother replying. * - Odus - Aug 21, 2015 What happens when you run into a captcha gate? * - sniper_x3 - Aug 21, 2015 ![]() I made this few months ago. It uploads the text to pastebin fine but when you try to visit the pastebin url it basically asks you to fill captcha before showing the pastebin content. For Example http://pastebin.com/LqPen3sD * - Delirium™ - Aug 21, 2015 Here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3202919 Enjoy! * - DuguWudi - Sep 26, 2015 Thanks, just downloaded it. |
