Best software to create Beats/Music? - ▄█▀ █─█ █ ▀▄▀ █▀█ - Aug 24, 2015 Hey guys 😕 I'd love to create some beats/music on my own and here comes the part where I have a few questions. I don't have any tunetable or such, for the start I want to work with the software only and get to know it better. There are 2 programs I personally know: Frooty Loops & Ableton. From what I have heard yet it seems like Frooty Loops is an easier to use but not as deep 'configureable' program like ableton - Is that right? So what program should I pick now? And can I create any kind of genre with that program? I'd love to try out some electrical stuff like Dubstep, Goa, Trap, House [...] Thanks for any kind of advise & help. 😏 * - Cammy - Aug 24, 2015 Martin Garrix uses Fruity Loops. I could name other artists that use Fruity Loops but since you never heard of Martin Garrix I feel it isn't needed. Yes, you can make HQ beats with it. Wow, sounds really good. 😉 Since Ableton freaks me a bit out I'll give fruity loops a try. 👍 Thanks a bunch guys. 🎉 * - Duyere - Aug 24, 2015 I used FL Studio when I produced, mixed in with a whole bunch of VST plugins and sample packs. * - Cammy - Aug 24, 2015 (Aug 24, 2015 12:10 PM)Dr.Seuss Wrote: Wow, sounds really good. 😉 Good luck. While I'm at it, the default Fruity Loops sounds and their plugins are pretty tough to work with but definitely worth checking out (The example project proves this). You should really torrent the Vengeance sample collections on KAT. Over 50GB of individual sounds you can use, suitable for almost every genre in some way or another. * - Maxi - Aug 24, 2015 FL Studio and Fruity Loops are the same program if you didn't figure that out. But yeah FL Studio. * - K3njii - Aug 24, 2015 (Aug 24, 2015 12:05 PM)Man United Wrote: When i first started i just had a good mess around on virtual dj pro, its very good. Tried switching over to ableton but the look of the software was horrendous compared to FL. As for people saying Ableton is for more advanced users, that's utter bullshit. A software is only good if you know how to use it. Stick to FL. * - 7804364 - Aug 24, 2015 frooty loops if you want to be a baller |
