Computer randomly freezing - Onyxis - Sep 7, 2015 So a few days ago my computer started freezing at random times but now it's getting worse, after restarting my computer I tried opening google chrome (which I have been using for years without any problems) but it keeps saying "Google chrome has stopped working..." without me even touching anything. So I started using Firefox but after about 10 minutes it's giving me the error that the version of Firefox isn't compatible with my windows-version. Even though I have been using it for years without any problems. So then I tried running malwarebytes but about 3 minutes into the scan my computer just froze again so I'm pretty sure my computer has been infected with some kind of virus. Would appreciate if someone could help me with this, thanks! * - Freebooter - Sep 8, 2015 Start Windows into "Safe Mode with Networking" and scan your computer with Eset Online Sanner, MalwareBytes and HitmaPro programs. * - Onyxis - Sep 9, 2015 (Sep 8, 2015 05:44 PM)Freebooter Wrote: Start Windows into "Safe Mode with Networking" and scan your computer with Eset Online Sanner, MalwareBytes and HitmaPro programs.
