I wanted to change my username, but I cannot because it says the name has been taken.

I know Omni won't delete an account so that you can have the username, as depicted below from the help documents. However..

Hell no. Don't even ask. If it's a zero post member you can wait till the account is pruned but don't ask us to delete an individual account for you. Even if it has one post from 2 years ago and they've never returned we will not delete the account just so you can have a username.
The name was pruned a long time ago, least that's what I think since I cannot find it with the search function as seen below:

Just curious if this is a bug, or if something can be done so I can get the username of the account that has already been pruned.

Just put an invisible Character and boom you have your name

I did this before, but I saw a post I believe from Omniscient that said he hated when people did this because when they purchase awards and such it makes it messy and sometimes he would give to award to someone else, without the invisible character.

Omni said multiple times some of the search features in HF are broken, maybe this is one of them?

If it's something wrong with the search button, I have had this problem for over 2 years. I doubt that's the case. I have searched, and all that comes up is me for that google search.
