Can only text/recieve texts/call/recieve calls on WI-FI - Winterjet - Sep 16, 2015 Basically my parents disabled my phone because I cut lunch and since my school is starting to be strict as fuck I got caught. So the catch is, I can only text/recieve texts on iMessage and not regular text messages and only when I'm on WI-FI. I also can't call/receive calls and it doesn't work even if I'm on WI-FI. Is there honestly any way to bypass this? Restoring phone to an earlier time maybe? I'm not sure, +1 to whoever helps! * - tron - Sep 16, 2015 Just get a voip app and make wifi calls from that; or just go out and get a prepaid phone. * - Winterjet - Sep 17, 2015 My cellular service is basically disabled, is there any way I can enable it though? * - Sunstrikes - Sep 17, 2015 I had this problem I paid a local phone shop £10 ($15) to fix this on my iPhone 5, unless you purchased this phone pre-owned then it might be blocked by the carrier because it's stolen or contract might have been cancelled. Hope I helped. 🤗 * - angrymcdouble - Sep 18, 2015 Sunstrikes you're wrong lol OP, your parents most probably disabled your line with the carrier, I guess they aren't paying it too. You should call your carrier and re enable it, but your parents would be charged again. Your move lol * - Λlex - Sep 19, 2015 What angrymcdouble told you. It's the carrier that cut you from their services. Assuming you're a minor, you can't do anything about it. Why don't you get a new SIM card? |
