Vmware network drivers issue, I disabled and when reenabled, internet wont work - Sinister Casual - Sep 21, 2015

Hi there

I have vmware and all the network drivers installed on my PC, I disabled them in my network and sharing center on my PC, and when I re-enabled them, the internet won't work on my VM's, even when I make new ones etc. Help thanks.

If you have more than one VM made, see if any others have that issue. If it's still an issue, just reinstall vmware and the VMs will import by themselves, if not CTRL+O then go to "documents " and click open on the vmx file.

What is the mode you have setup the Adapters? Bridged or NAT should help.

It depends, if you want the VM to get an IP address directly from your LAN DHCP server, than set it to Bridged.

Or else set it to NAT. Either one should work, it all depends on what you are trying to achieve.
