Im being ddosed all the time and can't make it stop - lIIlIIl - Sep 21, 2015 So i've seen in my routerlogs that im being ddosed with the method LAND but it doesn't stop, can't make it stop, this might be the wrong section, but i think there is alot of people here that knows something about this. Last time I checked, it was a FIN attack. The ip was 82.221.128.81 which is satoshimines website... This is really strange and i don't know what happend... * - YakumoTsukamoto - Sep 21, 2015 (Sep 21, 2015 11:47 AM)k4rm4 Wrote: So i've seen in my routerlogs that im being ddosed with the method LAND but it doesn't stop, can't make it stop, this might be the wrong section, but i think there is alot of people here that knows something about this.No Expert why not request a new ip from your isp? * - 420 Blaze It - Sep 21, 2015 Change your Ip. Very simple. Who play satoshi mines any more? It's a scam. * - Lipton's Ice Tea™ - Sep 21, 2015 For real, ring up your ISP and just straight up tell them to change your IP immediately. They'll walk you through it all. * - Moral™ - Sep 21, 2015 Buy a big and set it up as a vpn you'll have 100Gbps protection * - Ozedath - Sep 24, 2015 (Sep 21, 2015 11:47 AM)k4rm4 Wrote: So i've seen in my routerlogs that im being ddosed with the method LAND but it doesn't stop, can't make it stop, this might be the wrong section, but i think there is alot of people here that knows something about this. If the attacker can easily get your external address(knows your router type within the subnet) then it would be pointless to contact the ISP every time you are being attacked, as the attacker can easily find your router again(given that you receive an address in the same subnet). You could ask your ISP, nicely, to renew your IP at a specified time interval. If you have a more recent router that allows remote root access you can prevent SYN attacks by counting requests per second and block IPs with more than X (in my case 20) requests in 1 second. Code iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -i eth0 -m state --state NEW -m recent --set* - Maria Brink♥ - Sep 24, 2015 Its easy to change your IP address. Turn off your router/modem for 5 minutes. Turn it back on. Your IP should be changed. * - LightDawnV2 - Sep 24, 2015 Sometimes the turning off your router/modem for 5 minutes method doesn't work so I would recommend that you change one number of your MAC address then after you do that you unplug your router/modem for 60 seconds and plug it back in and you will have a new IP instantly. - To do this you simply log into your Netgear router or any other types of router you might have. If you have any questions just private message me and I be happy to answer. (FYI Yes, that 5 minutes method doesn't work for some people/ AKA meh) IPconfig release method also doesn't for me even though my internet provider has told me millions of times that it should work when it really doesn't. That's why overall I prefer the changing one number from my MAC address method. I don't have to wait long and its quick and simple :P * - hack_man_187 - Sep 25, 2015 Get a new ip and start using a vpn or even a proxy don't click on any stupid links eh or download something if you do not know what you're doing.....from what i said this won't happen again....best of luck. point blank don't be a noob if your ip is dynamic then change it check to see if its dynamic if not it must be static so if u have comcast or blah blah blah u would need to get another modem so take ur modem to there company blah blah blah and they would switch it out for u or just call them tell them to send a tech out hahaha they will give u a new modem just ddos urself when they get there rotfl but yeh after u get a new modem before u go to any stupid sites get a vpn or something i suggest hotspotshield like 30$ or so anyway deuces... Soda Aka Rob 🤝 * - Syracusia - Sep 25, 2015 Get a ddos protected VPN like OrcaVPN * - Takizawa - Sep 25, 2015 Well, I'm assuming he got your IP from Skype if so just close Skype and change IP if you have dynamic if not, then I would just contact my ISP and let them change it. After that, you probably want to tunnel Skype through a proxy/vpn for TCP/UDP so there would be no way for that guy to actually resolve you nor sniff you out if you have this person added on Skype. And you probably want to get a VPN if you're playing certain games. Feel free to contact me, I'll be glad to help and explain more in details :). Cheers Taki 🤝 * - Hispano - Sep 25, 2015 Change your IP address, setup a VPN with DDoS protection and you'll be fine. * - Jаson - Sep 25, 2015 Have you tried turning your modem off and back on again? |
