WebUI Front C# Back (Alternatives to ASP) - Terry A. Davis - Sep 25, 2015

So I know of ASP, I like the looks of it, but it seems to have to many nit picky standards for my liking I'll try get some eBooks on it and such but I don't really know, and was wondering what are some alternatives to it in anyway? Or anything that allows me to write a website that interacts with my C# back-end program.

Well a .net solution would be the easiest for interaction with your existing code - you can just reference it within the Web project.
If asp mvc seems too complicated for your needs then there are simpler alternatives like nancyfx or even asp webpages.

You could really write your website in any language you want and interact with your existing code in a huge number of ways, such as message queues, database polling, named pipes etc.

What type of interaction do you need to do?
