And why doesn't everyone just use FreeDNS?

FreeDNS honeypots and deletes the DNS entries.
Feel free to use them if you don't want to actually maintain your installs.

I don't use them to RAT, only for my friends to easily connect to me, but they haven't deleted any of my entries so far.
