Headphones work fine, but can't play through aux cord - Drizzy‎‎ - Oct 8, 2015

So I just got a new phone (Blu Studio 5.0 LTE) and I'm loving it. The only issue I've noticed is I can't play music through my car's stereo using an auxiliary cord. No matter what aux cord I use, it just doesn't want to play and outputs a sound as if it's only half-way plugged in (quiet buzzing). The phone shows that there is a headset plugged in (like my old phone did), but it doesn't seem to play. However, the strange thing is, headphones work perfectly fine. Does anyone know the issue and how I can troubleshoot it?

The aux cord I use works perfectly fine (and so is the stereo), so it's not that. I've confirmed this by using another device to play music.

Honestly it sounds like one or two things:

1. Hardware problem.
2. Proprietary problem.

If it is number one, the aux cable may be stereo or mono, and not compatible with the jack.
If it is number two, you're going to have to buy a cable approved by the manufacturer.
