Visiting England (Stoke on Trent [Alton Towers]) - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 So guuuuuyyys I'm going on a 6 day vacation with my girlfriend, Amsterdam -> England, Stoke on Trent. She wants to visit Alton Towers again, so that's what we're going to do. We'll probably go to manchester one day. Does anybody have any tips what to do or what to visit (anything!) Let me know * - Tomb Raider - Oct 15, 2015 England isn't all that great tbh aha. I am near Manchester so if you stop there this a place called Afflecks Palace which is this giant building with loads of other shops in that sells everything from band memorabilia to retro video games, imported sweets, jewellery. Its pretty good * - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 12:10 PM)Tomb Raider Wrote: England isn't all that great tbh aha. Its pretty good I'd like to have some sweets 😉 I'll write it down on my to visit list. Have you ever visited Alton Towers? * - Grammar Rays - Oct 15, 2015 I've been to Alton Towers and live only about 1-2 hours away over near Liverpool. Have fun. :) * - Tomb Raider - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 12:14 PM)Fleckens Wrote: I'd like to have some sweets 😉 I have been twice. I am not really a massive roller coaster person but there is still plenty of stuff to do. There is an aquarium and the giant castle thingy has ghost tours sometimes along with this cool ride called Hex * - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 12:15 PM)Grammar Rays Wrote: I've been to Alton Towers and live only about 1-2 hours away over near Liverpool. What should I choose and why? * - 100/100 - Oct 15, 2015 Alton Towers is fun, but be careful, some places in Manchester and Liverpool are dodgey af. * - 64-Bit - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 12:19 PM)Alunite Wrote: Alton Towers you should enjoy with your girl, I would stay clear of Manchester and Liverpool though. Not the best places to visit in England. 🤣 How humiliating, my home town. * - Grammar Rays - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 12:27 PM)❤️ Poppadomus ❤️ Wrote: How humiliating, my home town. Manchester or Liverpool? Small World, eh. 😖 * - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 Tell me somewhere to go then guys :( I don't want to chill in my hotel rooms 5 days long * - Exigo - Oct 15, 2015 Stoke on Trent is a shit hole, try not to get mugged by roadmen. * - ControlledCorruption - Oct 15, 2015 Alton towers is amazing can't go wrong stuff for roller coaster nuts but good for not the most ride orientated people. Manchester is a nice place in the city centre, but if you want a huge shopping centre with everything in Bowling, Cinema, Crazy Golf, More shops that I could name. The Trafford centre is a good bet just outside of Manchester. Enjoy your visit man. * - Cough - Oct 15, 2015 just a lonely briton expressing how britain is fuckin shit enjoy your stay and hope no chavs bother you * - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 01:27 PM)Wonga Wrote: just a lonely briton expressing how britain is fuckin shit I'm getting worried wow wow wow * - Fleckens - Oct 15, 2015 (Oct 15, 2015 01:42 PM)Alunite Wrote: You don't have to worry about the chavs! They are usually friendly people. Not the brown ones though. 🤫 The real dick heads in the UK are the Gypsies. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! It's likely you will see some at Alton Towers, especially if you go on a weekend.i'll avoid those gypsticks let them move their big fat gypsy wedding somewhere else |
