How to jailbreak your iOS 9.0-9.0.2 device.
This is for windows only at the moment! Will be updating once it works for OS X. •Step 1: Download Pangu's jailbreak tool here •It is recommended to backup your device with iTunes. •Step 2: Turn off find my iPhone. Go to your settings -> iCloud -> Find my iPhone [Off] •Step 3: Turn off your passcode. Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Passcode [Off] •Step 4: Turn your device into airplane mode. Settings -> Airplane mode •Step 5: Open the jailbreak file you downloaded from Pangu's site. •Step 6: Plug in your cable into the PC. •Step 7: The tool should now detect your iDevice. Click on the start button. •Step 8: If you already have a backup on your device click the Already backup button. Step 9: Somewhere around 55% your device will restart, once that's done turn airplane mode back on. •Step 10: Somewhere around 75% it will tell you to unlock your device and run the pangu application. •Step 11: Once you have opened up the app press accept and allow on the popup that follows. •Step 12: Wait until its done. •Step 13: You should now have Cydia on your phone. Open up cydia and let its thing. Troubleshooting. • This is for iOS 9 and not the beta. • If Cydia crashes after jailbreaking, reset to factory, restore, and try jailbreaking again. • If this error occurs [/usr/libexc/cydia/cydo error(2)] You need to restore and re-jailbreak again. • If your screen flashes blue when the Pangu app tries to switch to the photos app and the jailbreak fails at 90%; retry the jailbreak but when asked to open the Pangu app, first open the photos app and do not close it, then open the Pangu app. • If getting a Runtime error when launching Pangu 9: Go to Program and Features and uninstall Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support, and iTunes. Reboot Windows and install the latest version of iTunes. Got any questions? Post below or send me a PM and i will try to answer as good as possible. Keep the good work up! * - Impersonator #131 - Oct 20, 2015 Does anyone find it weird that Pangu has asked in the middle of injecting the jailbreak access to our photos? Trying to figure out for what reason.. * - sʜᴀʏ - Oct 20, 2015 (Oct 20, 2015 11:53 AM)Vladko Wrote: Does anyone find it weird that Pangu has asked in the middle of injecting the jailbreak access to our photos? Trying to figure out for what reason.. It needs access to the phone's DCIM folder (which it can't touch as an app sandboxed without your permission) to be able to write some data for a privilege escalation bug. You can check Settings>privacy>photos once the jailbreak process is completed. This will show you it's gone afterwards. * - iloominati - Oct 20, 2015 Yo this is dope man you are a fucking god * - Impersonator #131 - Oct 20, 2015 (Oct 20, 2015 11:55 AM)Shay Mitchell Wrote: It needs access to the phone's DCIM folder (which it can't touch as an app sandboxed without your permission) to be able to write some data for a privilege escalation bug. Oh that makes sense, found it weird as no jailbreaking tool asked access to our photo directory, but thanks however man. I now have my iPhone 6 Jailbroken successfully without any problem! 😉 * - sʜᴀʏ - Oct 20, 2015 (Oct 20, 2015 12:06 PM)Vladko Wrote: Oh that makes sense, found it weird as no jailbreaking tool asked access to our photo directory, but thanks however man.
