New iPhones Selling near 1k on eBay - Pchild - Oct 21, 2015

So I have noticed something recently that goes on with eBay and I wanted to see if anyone else can tell me why.

The new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are released and you can buy a simple iPhone 6s 64GB Factory Unlocked for $749 with free shipping the next day from Apple. Why on eBay if I can buy one for $749 from Apple and get it delivered next day or within 2 days for free, does eBay have a new iPhone 6s 64GB Factory Unlocked $800+ and people are buying them?

In other words, If I and anyone can buy from Apple for $749, why are sellers on eBay selling them at $800+, and even more importantly, why are people buying them? Is there something I don't know?

I'm speculating that at first people bought many and then resold them on eBay at a higher price and people bought them because there was a 2-3 week backorder on them causing people having to wait 3 weeks before getting their phone. eBay was a way to guarantee you got it quickly, but I don't see that as an issue anymore. Is this still the case? Would it be a good idea for me to buy a few and resell them on eBay for more like others do?

In my country iPhone 6s 64gb is 1150$

A iPhone 6s 64gb costs £619 in the uk.
Which is $952... It obviously depends on where you live what it costs.
Thats the way of the world ;)
But always remember, if you buy it from a different region (IE if i were to buy a phone from the US in the uk, i wouldn't get support from the UK, and it wouldnt have any uk warranty).

I'm going to bump this up. I still want to know if anyone knows how this truly works. I don't see how people get ahold of a brand new unwrapped phone and are able to sell it for $200 more than you can get it from the actual owner. It's like me buying a new car and reselling it for more on craigslist or ebay. Doesn't make sense why people would pay more.

It's pronounced "pee- Chilled". It's my first initial and part of my last name. You're right reading it, but the way I pronounce it in my head is like saying "pee- chilled".

In my opinion the reason why people buying Iphone 6s on ebay that is because they can't purchased the Iphone from Apple, the country that can't buy the Iphone from Apple is Israel, and yes in Israel they have a Official Apple store, but no Apple website and since buying or preorder online is the most easy and fast way.
as you can see there a lot of country that can't buy Iphone from Apple .

That would be some nice profit. Buying Amazon GC's for 60 - 70% then buying iPhones and reselling at 1k lol

Owning an iPhone isn't legal in most third world countries like India, China, Iran etc. So Apple won't sell it to you, but I could buy it and sell it on ebay for like 1500

EDIT: IDK if China has laxed or not but they were really strict before. Most countries are tough on it because of default encryption without backdoors.

Like he said,
Iphone 6s in Israel costs more than 1k$ and there's people who prefer to buy from Ebay...
