VB.NET Tutorial #1: Text to speech! - Four. - Oct 22, 2015 This is my first tutorial on here, for those who don't know about this. It's very simple, and it can be pretty cool to use if your really bored. Basically, you have to do the following steps; 1 - Create a new VB.net windows form application. 2 - In the form, add a button. This button will be used for the voice. You can use multiple ones for different text. 3 - Double tap a button that you want to edit, and add the following code. Code Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.ClickThat's it for this simple tutorial, hope someone finds this useful even though it's not much. * - TRH4CK - Oct 22, 2015 (Oct 22, 2015 08:43 PM)Tweety. Its actually a nice idea :D * - stratex - Oct 22, 2015 (Oct 22, 2015 09:50 PM)Four. Wrote: Lol get off the internet you weaboo. This tutorial was as half-assed as it gets. Clearly youre just doing it for the rep, so instead of giving copy/paste code and talking absolute shit to people, actually consider putting time into what you post by explaining everything so beginners understand. If you cant even do that then it really isnt worth posting a tutorial like this as it helps no one. * - Odus - Oct 23, 2015 OP tutorials should offer an explanation on the code, rather than just telling people to paste it in and enjoy. |
