Powerpoint alternate? - Rishabh - Oct 24, 2015

Guys

Need to prepare an important presentation.

Any suggestion for an alternate to powerpoint? Will prefer an offline software.

The online tools like prezi and slidebean are paid for features like private presentation, export to PPT. Therefore out of budget(unless someone can give me a free paid account :D)

TIA

Offline alternatives are libreoffice impress, WPS Office Presentation, both have to ability to save as .ppt and read .ppt. No idea about online ones.

These presentation tools are fking bullshit.
Better use LaTeX for a presentation.

Openoffice is crap.

And I have a paid version of PP. But I just don't want to use it for this presentation.

WPS Office is a good alternate OP.

Google presentation is pretty neat. It's online though. If you're on a mac there's keynote.

If you're a student (aka have an email with .edu) you can get a free prezi account.

Use open office as an alternative, they let you save as word document / powerpoint.

- PowToon
- Google Drive Presentation
- Prezi
- 280 Slides
- SlideRocket

Libreoffice is what I would use in offline mode. Never have to though. Online is good enough for me.

I use Google slides or PowerPoint online. I think you haven't heard of online free powerpoint tools provided by google and microsoft itself. So, here

For google slides, go to:
drive[WARNING POSSIBLY INFECTED]google.com
then go to menu and choose slides

Hope this helps.
